Affiliate program terms

You earn a 25% commission on referred sales that qualify under these terms.

Commission is calculated on the pre-discount catalog price of the product, not the amount the customer paid after any discount. For example, if a customer uses your 10% discount code on a $19 Full Report, you still earn 25% of $19.

When someone clicks your unique referral link, a tracking cookie lasts for 30 days. If they purchase a qualifying product within that window, the sale is attributed to you.

Your personal discount code can also attribute a sale to you when entered at checkout, even if the customer did not click your link first.

Approved affiliates receive a personal 10% discount code to share with their audience. The code is for one-time use per customer checkout.

You may share your code alongside your referral link in blog posts, newsletters, social media, and other channels where you have permission to promote.

Commissions are recorded when a referred purchase is completed. They move to confirmed status after the customer's payment succeeds.

Payouts are handled manually by our team. We process payouts once per month for affiliates whose confirmed balance is at least $50 CAD.

Payment is sent to the email address on your affiliate account unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You must promote WhyTheyThink honestly and in compliance with applicable advertising and disclosure laws, including FTC and CASL requirements where they apply.

WhyTheyThink may update commission rates, tracking rules, or these terms with reasonable notice to active affiliates.

Changes apply to future sales. Commissions already confirmed before a change takes effect remain payable under the terms that applied when they were confirmed.

WhyTheyThink may pause or remove an affiliate account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe harms our brand or customers.

If your account is terminated for cause, pending commissions that relate to invalid or prohibited activity may be withheld. Confirmed commissions earned in good faith before termination remain subject to the payment terms above.

You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on your affiliate income in your jurisdiction.
